European Union Regulation
Use of HCFCs is prohibited: solvent, production of foamed plastic refrigerant
after 1 January 2002, (except in equipment produced before that date).

European Union Regulation

Cap as Montreal Protocol.
No manufacture, sell or import a container that contains 2 kg or less.
 
Exceptions:

1. mold release agent
2. spinnerette lubricant
3. document preservation spray
4. fire extinguishing equipment for non-residential
5. wasp and hornet spray
6. foam insulation product
7. lubricant, coating or cleaning fluid for commercial use on electronic equipment or aircraft maintenance
8. refrigerant 412A
9. refrigerant 509A
10. pest control product registered before January 1, 1999
11. animal or human health care product
12. laboratory or for analysis use
No foam manufacture or import except foam insulation
 
No industrial cleaning or any solvent product that contains HCFC-141b
 
From January 1, 2010 no manufacture, use, sell, offer for sale or import HCFC-141b, HCFC-142b or HCFC-22.
 
From January 1, 2015, no manufacture, use, sell, offer for sale or import any  
HCFC except for exportation or for use as a refrigerant before January 1, 2020.
 
HCFC-123 is exempted until January 1, 2030
 
January 1, 2020, no manufacture or import any product that contains HCFC

All uses of HCFCs are banned except: rigid extruded polystyrene and polyurethane insulating foam in existing household, commercial and industrial heat transfer systems in research, development and laboratories until 1 January 2002.
